Terms of service

You are buying one randomly selected digital experience for $0.99 CAD. You are not buying a specific experience, a specific rarity, or a physical item. The selection is made on our servers and is final — reloading the page shows the same result.

Scanning a code is free and never triggers a payment. You are charged only when you explicitly authorize the payment on the code's page, and only once per reveal. There are no subscriptions.

There is no minimum age to scan a code or read a reveal. To pay you must be able to authorize the payment method you use in your jurisdiction. We do not impose additional age restrictions beyond what your payment provider requires.

TRUST THE SCAN? Inc. · Nanaimo, BC, Canada. The business address is in Nanaimo, BC; a specific street address will be added once a permanent office is established.

Experiences are written or curated for a general audience and are provided for entertainment only. Nothing in an experience is professional, legal, medical or financial advice. Do not attempt anything unsafe, illegal or harmful, whatever a code tells you.

Codes remain our property. Do not clone, modify, relabel or resell them, and do not use them to mislead people about what they are paying for.

Individual codes can be deactivated or retired at any time. If a code is inactive, no payment can be made through it.

The service is provided as-is. Our total liability for any purchase is limited to the amount you paid for that purchase.
