How it works
TRUST THE SCAN is a real-world curiosity game. The codes are printed. The surprise is digital. The price is always 99¢ CAD.
1. You find a code
Codes are placed in cafés, shops, transit stops and other public places. Each one has a number and a QR code that says, simply, trust the scan.
2. You scan it anyway
Scan the QR code. It opens the page for that exact code. Scanning never charges you.
3. You choose to pay
The page shows the price — $0.99 CAD — before anything happens. If you press the pay button, you authorize exactly one charge.
4. You get one experience
Our server verifies the payment, then picks one experience and locks it to that transaction. Refreshing shows you the same one; it never re-rolls.
Rarity
Every experience is drawn from a weighted pool. You can't influence the roll.

What you should know
- Scanning a code only opens a web page. There is no automatic payment, subscription or hidden charge.
- You always see the price and currency before you authorize anything, and you are charged once per reveal.
- Experiences are digital and delivered immediately, so purchases are final. If delivery fails, we retry or refund.
- An account is optional. Without one, your reveal lives at its link. With one, everything is saved to your collection.
- Content is intended for a general audience. Nothing illegal, hateful or unsafe.
